Coconut Cauliflower, Sesame Carrots, & Basmati rice



A couple of weeks ago I tried some recipes from an Ayurveda cookbook called Heaven’s Banquet: Vegetarian Cooking for Lifelong Health the Ayurveda Way by Miriam Kasin Hospodar.  I tried the book’s Cauliflower and Coconut recipe and served it with Martha Stewart’s Sesame Carrot Salad and some good ol’ basmati rice.  The cauliflower was cooked with ghee and seasoned with hing, ginger, brown mustard seeds, grated coconut, and turmeric.
